One Step At A Time

This was my first post on WordPress but I sort of lost it. Careless. Well, I’m including it because it’s important to me and because it might help others.



I want you to think about the things in your head and how it’s affecting your everyday life. You know what I’m talking about, the imprint of those dysfunctional years, the abnormal toilet training, the constant bullying, the character assassination, the paranoia, the toxic shame, the OCD, the need to watch Judge Judy (I’m not mentioning any names. You know who you are). We have to band together in our mental health issues and talk about them.

We have to talk about the things in our heads and in doing so…


Actually, my blog is plain and simple. A bit like me. It’s about people, books, places, movies,videos and events that inspire us, one way or another. Has a book changed your life, or was it a sunset? Does that man who saved your puppy from drowning, have a link? If we go to that link, can we see his light and be bathed in it, and through that, can we be inspired to do courageous things also?

I will touch upon the things that are integral to my soul, like writing or acting, like breathing in and out, but that is just a small part of me, a facet. Like most of us, that’s just a one on a ten sided die.

For the most part, I want to explore the everyday things that change our lives, or just make them a little better.

One step at a time.

It’s a drip drip effect.

Or…sometimes, the opposite. A storm comes and rips our lives apart.

For good. Or bad.
