Things In My Head 
Well that’ll sure give the Australian Republican Movement a boost.
But really, who cares?
I’m tempted to say the Sex Pistols told us all we needed to know about the monarch, but they overdid it because we don’t even need to know that much. The song is far more interesting than its notional subject.
The Queen is to Britain what Mickey Mouse is to the US; a dated, kitschy mascot for a tourist theme park. Her irrelevance is monumental in all arenas other than the checkout magazine business. I can’t imagine why anyone cares what she has to say.
